CMP WORKSHOPS

A course to develop AND enhance your music production skills

The Concept
This workshop is designed to take students to the next level of their sound production/engineering careers, enhancing both their theoretical and practical skills. This will be achieved by providing direct and personal involvement in a realtime music production with one of Australia’s most successful music producers.

The Course
Developed by producer, Scott Horscroft and Creative Music Productions, this workshop will provide opportunities for students to experience a unique hands-on approach to the production of music in a cutting edge studio. The uniqueness of this process allows students to have direct access to, and be personally coached by a successful contempory music producer. The workshop will take the participants through a real-time studio session with Scott Horscroft as he produces an original track. Working together with the producer and the live band, the participants will progress through the pre production, recording and mixing processes.

The Producer
Scott Horscroft is one of Australia’s most successful producers. His recent works with high profile artists such as Silverchair, The Presets, The Sleepy Jackson,The Panics and others have brought him several nominations for music awards and widespread industry acclaim.
